About the Lake Norman Comedy Zone

The Galway Hooker Pub operates one of two Charlotte based Comedy Zone Clubs. Part of the Comedy Zones of America network and partnered with Heffron Talent, our Lake Norman club offers national and celebrity acts each and every Tuesday.

• The Lake Norman Comedy Zone opens 1 hour before posted show time, all seating is general admission and tables are pre-assigned, so get here early to get the best seat! If you have a seating preference, please call us at 704.895.1782 and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
• A chef-driven food and beverage menu is available before and during the show. Come early, get a good seat, grab a cold drink and have a great dinner.
• Shows every Tuesday. Doors open at 7:00pm; Show starts at 8:00pm. Shows last approximately 90 minutes.

The Lake Norman Comedy Zone in conjunction with the Galway Hooker Irish Restaurant and Pub is one of the most unique and interactive restaurants in the Charlotte region. The balance between its Irish history, incredible atmosphere and Chef Steve Jordan’s menu creations has become a great destination for many tourists and a mainstay amongst the locals in the Lake Norman area. The restaurant is an authentic Irish Pub, built by the Irish Pub company in Dublin, Ireland. The Pub was built piece by piece in Ireland and shipped to its current location. Opened in 2002, the Galway Hooker offers live music on weekends, the Comedy Zone and Waterford Hall, a rustic, 2,500 square foot banquet room above the restaurant.
